News: Leisure Connection's Chief Executive presents MJ award to Caradon District Council

The MJ hosted another hugely successful awards ceremony at The Hilton, Park Lane on the Thursday 26 June and Leisure Connection was yet again a proud sponsor for the second year running.
Graham was the lead judge on the 'Promoting Active Communities Achievement of the Year' award, which recognises innovative and exciting council projects that have proved to make a difference in encouraging exercise and activity amongst their residents. Graham had the pleasure of presenting the award to Caradon District Council.

- Leisure Connection is launching a £90,000 fundraising drive to support disabled athletes ahead of the 2012 Paralympic Games. This is as part of nationwide campaign called Wheel Appeal, which has been launched by WheelPower, the national organisation for Wheelchair sport. The aim is to raise more than £6 million - enough money to provide 2012 sports wheelchairs for young disabled athletes by 2012.
